Ministry Of Health COVID-19 Update - 22 June 2020, Zimbabwe Records 23 New Cases

Zimbabwe recorded 23 new COVID-19 positive cases today. This was revealed in the Ministry of Health COVID-19 update which states that:

Twenty-three (23) cases tested positive for COVID-19 today. These are returnees from South Africa (21) and 2 local cases and are all isolated.

The local cases are contacts of known confirmed cases

Today 171 RDT screening tests and 364 PCR diagnostic tests were done. The cumulative number of tests done to date is 63 347 136 126 RDT and 27 221 PCR).

To date the total number of confirmed cases is 512; recovered 64, active cases 442 and 6 deaths, since the onset of the outbreak on 20 March 2020.
