Liverpool’s Wait Continues As Derby Fails To Produce Preferred Results

Liverpool are favourites to win the English Premier League title, after 30 years of waiting, but the waiting has been prolonged by recent events.

In March, the current season was suspended following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic that emerged in China in December 2019.

The Reds were on the verge of lifting the trophy, with only two wins to go albeit this also depended on the performance of title contenders and reigning champions, Manchester City who are trailing the log leaders by 23 points.

Last night, Liverpool were hosted by Everton at Goodison Park and only managed to secure a point in zero all draw.

A win for Jurgen Klopp’s boys could have meant that Liverpool could lift the trophy if they beat Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
