Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has said that the club’s forward, Leroy Sane has rejected a new contract offer from the club an indication that he no longer wants to stay at the club.
Speaking ahead of the Monday visit of Burnley, the Spanish international said Sane has been engaged in talks with the club for a possible new contract for the past two years and results have been frustrating. He said:

Leroy said he doesn’t want to extend the contract so it means he wants to leave and it is going to happen this summer or when he is out of contract.
The club have talked to me, they’ve offered two or three times to extend his contract, he rejected so it means he wants to play in another club.
If, at the end of this season, we arrive at an agreement with another club, he is going to leave.
The 24-year-old German international has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich with reports suggesting that the Bavarians have since contacted City over the possible move.
City are reportedly are demanding £62m for the winger they signed from Schalke in 2016 for £37m. Sane has not been getting enough game time at City.
