Six MDC Alliance officials were on Friday afternoon arrested at the party’s headquarters, Morgan Richard Tsvangirai (MRT) House in central Harare after they asked for permission from police officers guarding the premises to gain access.
The six, deputy presidents Tendai Biti and Lynette Karenyi-Kore, deputy International Relations secretary Lovemore Chinoputsa, deputy secretary-general Chimhini, Gladys Hlatywayo and Vongai Tome, are members of the MDC Alliance Standing Committee.
