Parliament through the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee led by Priscilla Misihairabwi has said it is premature to re-open schools right now, ZBC News reports.
Addressing legislators Misihairabwi Mushonga said:
Other countries that tried to open schools have failed. Let’s not expose our children to this deadly pandemic, we believe schools should only open when the conditions permit
Meanwhile, ZIMSEC has already released the June Examinations timetable and teachers under ZIMTA have dismissed it saying the government is not yet ready to re-open schools.
