Boxing Champion Floyd Mayweather will reportedly pay for George Floyd’s funeral, CNN Reports. According to the publication, Mayweather’s representative told ESPN that the athlete will pay for the funeral.

Mayweather reportedly didn’t want people to know what he was doing according to Leonard Ellerbe, the CEO of Mayweather Promotions who said this to ESPN:

He’ll probably get mad at me for saying that, but yes, (Mayweather) is definitely paying for the funeral

George Floyd suffered a cardiac arrest after a police officer Derek Chauvin kneeled on his neck for over 8 minutes while other police officers restrained him.
