ED Has Managed COVID-19 Well, The Police Are Not Brutalizing People During The Pandemic - Mangwana
The Information Ministry Secretary NIck Mangwana has taken the time to praise president Mnangagwa’s way of handling the COVID-19 pandemic. Mr Mangwana said the president instructed the police to be gentle with civilians and the police force listened unlike in other countries where security forces are killing civilians.
Writing on the microblogging site Twitter Mangwana said:
President ED has shown very stable hands in managing the #Covid19Zim disaster. He was clear that he wanted the police to treat citizens with compassion and empathy. True to his directive Zim policed the #Lockdown differently from some countries where people were killed or injured
FeedbackMeanwhile, 2 sisters were brutalised by ZRP officers in Bulawayo for breaking lockdown restrictions.
