2 Bulawayo Sisters Who Were Assaulted By The Police Identify Alleged Assailants During A Parade

2 sisters from Bulawayo who were badly assaulted by police for defying lockdown restrictions were able to identify alleged assailants during a parade, New Zimbabwe reports.

The sisters reportedly identified 2 police officers Simbarashe Bvekwa and Tichaona Zariro who were set to appear in court before their lawyer complained about the investigation officers to the court.

According to the sisters’ lawyers:

The investigations are bringing something up. The entry which was given by the Director of the Public prosecution was not fully adhered to and we insist that the entry must be fully complied with.

There are also some administrative issues that need to be complied with before the accused persons are brought to court
