Zim Govt Speaks On “Placing Citizens In The Diaspora In Strategic Positions” Post COVID-19

Zimbabwe’s Deputy Minister of Defence, Victor Matemadanda has said that it is in the best interest of the nation to place Zimbabweans in the diaspora in strategic positions to turn around the country’s fortunes.

Matemadanda who is also the Political Commissar for the ruling ZANU PF said that the citizens in the diaspora have the much-needed exposure to other cultures and other systems of governance which can be essential in the transformation of the country.

He said that the first step would be to lookinto the database to establish who can do what for better integration into the Zimbabwean community.

  1. This is a terrible, terrible idea, statistics show those living in the diaspora only see a liberal agenda, this is the agenda that is destroying western countries. If government thinks this is an approachable reality that will improve our country they have a reality check coming, economics is simple but implementation of economic policy seems to be our downfall and in order to change the course of the downward spiral we are seeing is nothing easier than to stop assigning weak people into political positions that act for a party and rather place someone who will put policy before politics. Economic policy should not be a party institution but rather an independent entity, it’s this simple.
