Mwazha Succession Wrangle Rages On

The succession battle between Paul Mwazha’s sons is reportedly ongoing as The Herald reports that they have reportedly reported each other to the police which increases the likelihood of the case going to court.

Nyasha Mwazha reportedly reported his uncle Alfred Mwazha and his brothers to Hatfield police for malicious damage to property.

On another note, Paul Mwazha’s alleged preferred successor Tawanda Mwazha is reportedly hauled up in South Africa but has instructed his lawyers back in Zimbabwe to file a suit against his brother Alfred.

Speaking to The Herald, Nyasha Mwazha said:

Lawyers have been instructed to prepare a suit against Alfred and his followers. Indications are that Tawanda wants to file for a peace order against Alfred and his team.

They want to bar Alfred from hurriedly claiming the reigns and speeding the process, especially when people’s movements are restricted because of coronavirus.

Their question is on why he is rushing to claim power and failing to wait until when all the people are in place?

The dispute started earlier this week when Alfred and his brothers went to their father’s home to initiate a succession ceremony.
