One of Zimbabwe’s biggest telecommunications company, NetOne Cellular, has delayed increasing the prices of its data.
The state-owned entity had announced that it will review up the prices of its data tariffs this Wednesday, 06 May 2020.
NetOne had announced:
Dear Value Customer,
Please be advised that NetOne will be reviewing its bundle prices effective 6 May 2020.
TechnoMag reports that the increase has been delayed until Friday this week adding that sources within the Telecommunications company say that the increase will not be over 60% of the current price.
Meanwhile, another telecommunications giant, Econet Wireless Zimbabwe has already effected it’s data price adjustment as according to POTRAZ regulations by more than 200%.
