European Union To Blacklist Zimbabwe Over Terrorist Funding Tomorrow - Report

The European Union is set to blacklist Zimbabwe and other counties that pose a financial risk to the union because  of money laundering and terrorism financing shortfalls, Newsday reports

According to the publication, Reuters claims it has documents in its possession that show that Zimbabwe, Botswana and Ghana are the only 3 African countries on the European Union’s list of counties to be blacklisted tomorrow because they “pose significant threats to the financial system of the EU“:

Under EU law, banks and other financial and tax firms are obliged to scrutinise more closely their clients who have dealings with countries on the list.
