MDC A Alliance Organizing Secretary Warns Members Against Joining Mwonzora's WhatsApp Groups
Amos Chibaya the MDC Alliance organising Secretary has reportedly sent a memo to MDC Alliance party members advising them not to be added to any new Nelson Chamisa WhatsApp groups because they did not create new groups, Newsday reports.
This was reportedly after Douglas Mwonzora started opening Whatsapp groups adding people from the 2014 MDC structures who lost their posts after the integration of alliance partners into the MDC.
Part of the Memo sent by Chibaya to part supporters reads:
As the national organising department, we did not form new national council WhatsApp groups, so reject being added to any new NC WhatsApp groups. The rebels are now desperate and are masquerading as the national organising department. All suspected structural issues please report to national organising secretary Amos Chibaya
Additionally, the party’s deputy organising secretary Happymore Chidziva said they were not afraid ta lose members to Mwonzora’s camp:
