Donors Give Gweru Infectious Diseases Hospital A Major Face Lift - Report

Various companies have reportedly moved in with various donations to give Gweru infectious Diseases Hospital, Midlands’ COVID-19 isolation center a major facelift. The Chronicle reports

Gweru city’s director for of Health Services, Mr Sam Sekenham named River Valley Properties (RVP), Mimosa Mining Company and Zimbabwe Bulk Drilling company and many others and said they were part of the donors refurbishing the hospital in preparing to admit COVID-19 cases should they be detected in the province.

We are grateful that we are not alone as Gweru City Council in the fight against the spread of this scourge at local level.

We have companies like River Valley Properties which has literally adopted the hospital, providing new bedding, sheets, blankets for all the beds, they are also providing food to staff.

We also have other companies like Mimosa Mining Company, Zambezi Bulk Drilling Company which drilled a borehole among others who are pledging to assist this institution.

Midlands has so far not recorded any COVID-19 cases but they have erected tents outside their isolation center just to stay ready.
