Herewith the government’s COVID-19 Update for 02 May 2020

The Ministry would like to repots that all the PCR tests done in Harare  and Bulawayo on the 1st of May 2020 were negative for COVID- 19

Today a total of 1 436 tests were done as shown in table 1 below giving a total of 10 727 screening and diagnostic tests done to date Results to follow tomorrow.

Therefore to date, Zimbabwe has thirty-four confirmed cases. including five recoveries and four deaths

• Covering your mouth with tissue paper when coughing or sneezing
• Avoid contact with people who are sick. coughing or sneezing
• Maintaining at least 1 metre sidtance between yourself and others.
