Highlanders Raise ZWL $10k+ For Ekusileni Medical Center Through Crowd Funding

Bulawayo Giants Highlanders have through crowdfunding raised over ZWL $10 000 for Ekusileni Medical centre and the football club will handover the funds to the medical centre on May 6, Sunday News reports.

This was revealed by Highlanders Treasury Donald Ndebele who spoke to the publication and said:

Most of the funds have come through WhatsApp groups and less than 50 direct donations. WhatsApp groups collect from their members and handover as a group.

We have moved the handover to Wednesday 6 May 2020, we are closing contributions Tuesday, a day before the presentation of the donations. I do not have the exact figures, we are still receiving donations

The donations were collected through the club’s Highlanders EcoCash Biller Code and One Money Merchant Code and they were mobilised through WhatsApp.
