COVID-19 Global Death Toll Surpasses 200 000

202 501 people have succumbed to COVID-19 worldwide as the number of infections climb to 2.9 million, Worldometers reports.

The USA has recorded the largest number of fatalities as deaths stand at 53 745 with Italy, Spain, The UK and France recording over 20000 deaths each.

Vaccines to try and treat the virus are still being developed and China and The UK are already testing the vaccinations on human beings
