ZOL Alerts Customers About Criminals Posing As Staffers

ZOL Zimbabwe has warned its customers that there are individuals falsely posing as ZOL staff under the guise of upgrading internet services to gain access to homes.

In a statement on Wednesday, the company said:

ZOL Zimbabwe would like to warn its valued customers that there are individuals impersonating ZOL employees under the guise of facilitating an upgrade of services.

We urge all our customers to be wary of such individuals and exercise vigilance by immediately reporting any such occurrences through our email address feedback@zol.co.zw.
Your security is of the utmost importance to us and as such we are currently investigating the matter.

  1. ZOL Zimbabwe employees will under no circumstances randomly appear at your premises.
  2. We will follow set out contact procedure when visiting your premises to resolve any faults that may occur by ensuring that you are fully aware of our intended visits.
  3. Regrettably, we will not be able to resolve faults that occur inside your houses and ask you to bear with us. This is a measure we have taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 to our customers, employees and agents.

As recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO), we encourage you to maintain a social distance of at least 2 metres and minimize interaction with our teams as they attend to your fault within the vicinity of your gardens, as necessary.
