Jack Ma's "3rd Donation To Africa Will Immediately Be Made To African Union"
Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba and Alibaba Foundation has announced that his 3rd donation to Africa will soon be made to the African Union.
Posting on Twitter on Monday, Jack Ma who is a Chinese is a Chinese business magnate, investor and politician said:
Our 3rd donation to Africa will immediately be made to@africanunion and @AfricaCDC. This includes 4.6m masks, 500k swabs & test kits, 300 ventilators, 200k clothing sets, 200k face shields, 2k thermal guns, 100 body temp. scanners and 500k pairs of gloves. #OneWorldOneFight
Jack Ma recently donated health kits to Africa and to Zimbabwe in particular, he donated a consignment that consisted of 20 000 laboratory diagnostic test kits, 100 000 medical face masks and 1 000 protective suits and face shields.
The donations are made in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic that is rapidly spreading across the world.
The virus that emerged in China in December last year has so far killed over 166 000 people world wide and fears about that millions might die in Africa given that most of the health systems on the continent are collapsed.
