The COVID-19 Milton Park Clinic Will Treat Patients For Free - Dr Vivek Solanki

Borrowdale Trauma Center founder Dr Vivek Solanki has said his new clinic the COVID-19 Milton Park Clinic has been given the green light to operate by the Ministry of Health and it will start operating next week. Dr Solanki also said the clinic will take on patients, test them, treat them and monitor their progress either at home or at the facility for free.

Speaking to ZimMorning Post’s Elias Mlambo, Dr Solanki said:

The Covid-19 Milton Park Clinic has been set up to train healthcare workers, testing for Covid19 suspected cases, examination of patients and then either discharge them home or be admitted for Covid19 treatment. It will adhere to National guidelines set out by our Ministry of Health and Child Care.

It is the first of its kind set up by the private sector and treatment will be FREE. I hope others will follow this model and set up such clinics in every suburb Nation wide to combat the Covid19 Pandemic.
Due to scarcity of resources we are unable to set up large Centers to combat Covid19 as we see in Europe and China. We have to come up with cost effective local solutions such as these

While responding to social media reports that he is treating suspected COVID-19 elite patients at the trauma centre,  Dr Solanki explained that his Borrowdale Trauma Center is an emergency centre and they treat all patients including COVID-19 patients who want him to treat them.
