Universities have been urged to create online learning material to use during the lockdown, The Chronicle reports. The remarks were made by the Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development Minister Professor Amon Murwira who said;
The position of the ministry is guided by the decision taken by the Head of State and Government. We have told our universities to start developing material online for students. We are going to make a follow up to assess progress.
Schools have been closed since 24 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
