China Claims 111 Africans Tests Positive For Coronavirus In Guangzhou
111 Africans have tested positive for COVID-19 in China’s Guangzhou as of Monday, The Star reports. According to the publication, among the 111, 19 were imported cases.
This came to light after 4,553 Africans in the metropolis had gone through a nucleic acid testing since April 4.
Speaking about the exercise, Tang Xiaoping, director of the Guangzhou municipal health commission said;

Chen Yongqiu, deputy chief of the city’s public security bureau dismissed reports that the Africans were racially profiled for the exercise and said:
