"Probably Trump Was Right That WHO Colluded With Racist China On Coronavirus," - Jonathan Moyo

Exiled former Zimbabwean Cabinet Minister, Professor Jonathan Moyo has said that the Southern African Development Community and Africa at large must strongly condemn racism and maltreatment of black African nationals.

Commenting on a statement by the Julius Malema led party Economic Freedom Fighters party’s statement that castigated Chinese racist attitude against Africans, Moyo said:

The clear & present fact that the African Union and African leaders have ignored since time immemorial is that China is a racist country with no respect for individual & human rights!

Moyo added supporting the conspiracy theory which is being championed by the United States President Donald Trump that China is conniving with the World Health Organisation to misinform the world on the deadly coronavirus. He said:

If @DrTedros does not emphatically condemn China’s racist & Afrophobic treatment of black African nationals, then @realDonaldTrump might be right that @WHO colluded with China to aid Chinese misinformation at the expense of global efforts to stem the spread of the #coronavirus!

These remarks follow reports of stigmatisation of Africans who are accused of causing the new coronavirus infections in the country.

Meanwhile, African Ambassadors in China have reportedly since protested against the mistreatment.
