91 Recovered COVID-19 Cases Tests Positive For Coronavirus Again In South Korea
91 people who had recovered from the virus tested opposite for the virus again in South Korea, The Telegraph reports.
This has raised global concern as scientists thought infected recoveries would develop a strong immune system that would resist the virus.
The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) has reported that it has sent people to Daegu the hardest-hit area in Korea to investigate why people are testing positive again.
The KCDC’s director, Jeong Eun-kyeong, has reportedly raised the possibility that the virus may have been “reactivated” in people, rather than the patients being re-infected according to the publication.
While some experts are blaming it on false tests. or remnants of the virus in the patient’s system as some of them have no symptoms at all while some are posing breathing and respiratory problems.
