2 more people have tested positive for COVID-19. The 2 new cases, both from Harare are 2 21-year-old males who travelled to England on undisclosed dates. This was revealed by the ministry of health in a daily COVOD-19 update which reads in part:
Globally. more than I.5 million confirmed cases of COVID-19 and about 100,000 deaths have been reported to date
The Ministry would like to report that today. the National Microbiology Reference Laboratory tested 25 samples. Two of these tested positive for COVII)-I9
Therefore, to date, Zimbabwe has thirteen confirmed cases of COVID-19, including three deaths.
Three deaths have need recorded since Zimbabwe recorded its first COVID-19 case on 21 March and confirmed cases are now 13.
