We Will Be Ready When CAF Return For Final Inspection In June - Machakaire
Deputy Sports Minister Tinoda Machakaire has expressed his confidence in his ministry’s efforts to revamp local stadia to meet the upcoming June CAF inspection deadline, the Daily News reports.
Machakaire was speaking to the Daily News when he said:
I’m very much confident that we will be ready when they (Caf) return for final inspection in June. It’s just that much of our progress was hindered by coronavirus which has affected the whole world otherwise we could have covered a lot of ground.
FeedbackWe will see how things progresses in the following weeks. As soon as things normalise, we will put all our efforts together to make sure the stadia meet the minimum requirements. For now, it’s important to prioritise the health of everyone from this virus
This was despite Barbaourfields and National sports stadiums failing CAF inspections for the second time since they were banned in February. The stadiums are being revamped despite progress being affected by the COVID-19.
