JUST IN: Govt Allows Herbalists To Treat COVID-19 Patients

The government of Zimbabwe has given herbalists the greenlight to treat COVID-19 patients Health Times reports. This was communicated by Health Secretary, Dr Agnes Mahomva who said herbalists must be allowed to operate.

A letter from Dr Mahomwa to City of Harare’s Dr Chonzi reads in Part:

The government of Zimbabwe recognises the use of traditional medicines. To this end, a registered traditional medical practitioner (TMP) can prescribe or administer traditional medicines to his or her patients
