Jaure's Wife Expresses Gratitude To The Zimbabwean Football Fraternity

Fadzai Jaure, the wife of Dynamos and Warriors CHAN captain Partson Jaure, said her husband is now on the recovery path after undergoing a head operation last Sunday following injuries he sustained in a car crash on March 22.

The 25-year-old mother of two, who is a Supply Chain Management student at Chinhoyi University of Technology, said the 9 hour-long operation on Partson were the longest 9 hours of her life.

Fadzai expressed her gratitude to the Zimbabwean football fraternity, Dynamos FC and the Footballers Union of Zimbabwe (FUZ) for their support since Partson’s injury. She said:

I have realised one thing: my husband is loved by the Zimbabwean football fraternity. The way Zimbabwe has shown love to my husband in these trying times is really amazing.

The Jaure family is touched and we are more than grateful. He (Partson) appreciates it.

Dynamos have gone out of their way in support of their captain, I thank them for that.

The Footballers Union of Zimbabwe, ZIFA and the whole football fraternity have been very supportive in this hour of anguish.

Partson and Fadzai have two children — a girl, Taylor Makatendeka (5), and a boy, Dwayne Tawananyasha, who is 18 months old.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that Jaure or “Yellow” as he is popularly known in football circles because of his light complexion, has a 50-50 chance of playing football again.
