MDC Speaks On Mwonzora’s Fate, Answer Questions On Supreme Court Ruling On Party Leadership

The opposition MDC led by Nelson Chamisa has said that Morgen Komichi and recently reinstated Secretary-General, Douglas Mwonzora are no longer members of the MDC Alliance since they “supported another party”.

This comes after Komichi and Mwonzora openly and vehemently supported the Supreme Court ruling which reinstated Thokozani Khupe as the leader of the party.

We present the party’s statement below.

  1. On a matter of principle, focus and vision for the political Platforms which matter on the Zimbabwean political landscape, this input is evidently rational for educating the electorate and the greater regional and international audience interested in the destiny of Zimbabwe for generations to come.
