UZ, GZU, CUT Producing PPEs, Hand Sanitisers & Face Masks To Help Fight COVID-19 - Report .

The University of Zimbabwe, Great Zimbabwe University and Chinhoyi Univerity of Technology are all producing materials like sanitizers, face masks and professional protective equipment(PPE) to be used to help curb spreading COVID-19, The Herald reports.

According to the Minister of Information and Publicity and Broadcasting services, Monica Mutsvangwa:

Great Zimbabwe today (yesterday) launched its production of hand sanitisers.

University of Zimbabwe today received 20 000 litres of ethanol which will see it increasing its production of hand sanitisers.

Chinhoyi University of Technology today handed over 2 000 face masks to our security services.
