CAPS Producing 80 000 Chloroquine Tablets A Day To Help Fight COVID-19 - Report
Pharmaceuticals giant CAPS Holdings is reportedly manufacturing 80 000 chloroquine tablets a day which are supposed to be used to fight COVID-19, The Herald reports.
This was after inconclusive research said chloroquine, which was used to treat Malaria, could be instrumental in treating the pandemic that has brought the world to its knees.
This was revealed by Information Minister Mutsvangwa who said:
CAPS Holdings is producing 80 000 chloroquine tablets and is set to increase its production once raw materials are delivered.
It has still not been confirmed that Chloroquine can effectively treat COVID-19.
