Chinhoyi ZUPCO Crews Decry Lack Of Protective Clothing
ZUPCO crew members operating in Chinhoyi have expressed their concern over the fact that they have not been given protective clothing to use during their shifts which exposes them to the novel coronavirus, The Herald reports.
Different crew members that spoke to the publication about the situation said:
We are yet to receive protective clothing so that we conduct our duties without fear. We have since received sanitisers, but we feel we should also get access to masks and gloves to protect ourselves and our passengers from the deadly virus.
FeedbackZUPCO busses are still operational despite the lockdown as they are transporting some of the workers who are supposed to be providing essential service during the lockdown.
