“Chamisa Could Soon Be Moving Out Of Harvest House.” – As Court Rules On Power Dispute With Khupe

NewsDay reporter Blessed Mhlanga has suggested that the excitement which Thokozani Khupe the leader of the opposition MDC-T has ahead of a Supreme Court ruling scheduled for this afternoon could be an indication of her victory in the power wrangle against Nelson Chamisa.

Khupe and Chamisa are embroiled in a power struggle which started when MDC founding leader, Morgan Tsvangirai was on his death bed.

Chamisa and Khupe, in that order, participated in 2018 elections using different party names, that is, MDC Alliance and MDC-T.

The Supreme Court rules on the power wrangle this afternoon. Commenting on Khupe’s excitement, Mhlanga said:

Khupe sounds happy ahead of the 3 pm judgment some insiders said they are already aware of the judgement. Chamisa could soon be moving out of Harvest House. Or Khupe will have to call for Congress soon.

Khupe had said:

I’ve just received a call from my lawyer @ProfMadhuku informing me that the SC, judgement will be handed down today @ 3pm. I call upon our members & supporters to remain calm & accept whatever the outcome of judgement is. In unity let’s renew & build our great Party and Country!

The High Court had ruled in favour of Khupe which prompted Chamisa to appeal at the Supreme Court.

  1. khupe and chamisa are all sellouts people of zim mdc has failed it will not bring freedom to zim the only thing is to find a party that will unite all zimbos not mdc chamisa was a real zanupf product khupe is also a spy he is not bold enough and does not have what it takes to lead

  2. Biti is saying all sorts of rubbish that the Congress they held was for MDC Alliance, very shallow and thick upstairs. Why did Chamisa appeal to Supreme court when High court had nullified his Presidency, double standards and Biti has displayed his lack of capacity to understand the whole case. Now there are talking of Alliance when they used money allocated to parties with more than 5% votes. Why did they use the money and yet MDC Alliance didn’t have even a single seat in Parliament. Khupe must take these rogue former student activists to the cleaners. Biti should just shut up. While at PDP, his supporters could hardly fill a single cab truck. Pathetic
