ZESA has assured the nation that power is not too scarce of late and as for today, those without power must contact service centres for restoration.
ZESA Spokesperson Fullard Gwasira Tweeted:
Very little load shedding today. Just 130MW. Almost all areas have power. Those without should contact our service centers for restoration.
Gwasira, however, responded to questions about the availability of power during the lockdown and said ZESA would want to provide power throughout the lockdown notwithstanding plant breakdowns.
Zesa strives to provide adequate power at all times, including during this season, not withstanding a real possibility of plant breakdowns due to old age

We live in St Martins and have had no zesa for 3 nights. Just got it back yesterday at 5pm. We are under lock down and all our perishables have gone bad . Even called the zesa engineer for our area but it was hopeless.
