Hospitalised Dembare Captain Patson Jaure yesterday underwent a delicate head surgery that was aimed at mending a fractured skull after he was involved in a car accident last week, The Herald reports.
This was revealed by Dembare’s CEO Jonathan Mashingaidze who said this to the publication:
Yes, he went in for the operation. But most of these things are technical and they need medical personnel to interpret. However, we are hoping and praying that he goes over it as quickly as possible and comes back to do what he knows best, which is playing football.

Jaure who is admitted at Parirenyatwa Hospital had remained semi-unconscious for the past week. A preliminary scan had shown that the captain was out of danger until the second one showed that he had a fractured skull and possible brain injury and he would need surgery to speed up recovery.
