Here Are The Places South Africans Won't Be Allowed To Access During Lockdown
The Beitbridge Border Post between Zimbabwe and South Africa will be closed to non-residents at midnight this Thursday.
After midnight, only Zimbabweans will be allowed entry into Zimbabwe with South Africa only allowing its citizens into the country.
However, cargo operations will not be interrupted.
South Africa will commence a 21-day lockdown, with the country鈥檚 Police Minister Bheki Cele warning that any person who contravenes the regulations of the nationwide lockdown will be guilty of a criminal offence and will be liable to a fine or imprisonment, or both.
The move is aimed at curbing the spread of the coronavirus. According to News24, here are the places people will be prohibited from accessing:
