AFM In Zimbabwe Suspends All Church Services Over Coronavirus

The Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe church led by Reverend Amon Madawo has notified its members of the temporary suspension of all church services due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

In a memorandum dated 24 March 2020 that was addressed to all Provincial Overseers and all Provincial Secretaries, the church’s Secretary-General Reverend Brian Tembo said:

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Further to our previous statement, the National Executive Board of the Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe hereby suspends all Assembly, Sub-Assembly, Cell or any group services or gatherings in compliance with the government’s efforts to curb the spread of Covid 19.

Members are encouraged to practice social distancing and to take all the recommended precautions to avoid infection by the corona virus. We encourage you all to continue to pray steadfastly and with faith. Do not panic for “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind” (2 Tim. 1:7 NKJV).

We have arranged with the President of the church, Rev A D Madawo and other pastors to minister to the church every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday through live streaming, We encourage all members of AFM in Zimbabwe to keep trusting God.
