Zororo Makamba Laid To Rest

Zimbabwean Broadcaster and son to Telecoms Mogul James Makamba was laid to rest today, The Herald reports. Zororo was buried under the supervision of healthcare workers according to Nick Mangwana who tweeted:

Mr Zororo Makamba was laid to rest today. All protocols in handling departed loved ones who pass on from infectious conditions were followed. May he rest in glory. His legacy will live on

Zororo succumbed to COVID-19 yesterday after he tested positive for the virus on Saturday. His family claims the government is lying about its preparedness to tackle the pandemic that has killed over 17 000 people worldwide.
