Parirenyatwa Hospital Restricts Visitors Due To COVID-19

Parirenyatwa Hospital has decided to limit the number of people visiting the same patient to 2 as a COVID-19 spread prevention precautionary measure, The Herald reports.

The hospital released a statement which reads in part:

We strongly urge all our stakeholders and general public to bear with us during this period. The Hospital will review these requirements when it is deemed necessary.

The statement also further reiterates that the 2 visitors will be subject to screening in a bid to curb spreading the novel coronavirus which has killed over 9000 people.
