According to a Namibia Newspaper, a German national who passed through Zimbabwe on unspecified dates has tested positive for COVID-19 bringing the total cases of COVID-19 in Namibia to 3.
The newspaper tweeted the development and said:
BREAKING: Health minister Dr Kalumbi Shangula has confirmed the country’s third case of Covid-19 after a German national tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
According to Shangula, the German national who tested positive travelled from Amsterdam to Namibia via Zimbabwe. #CoronaVirusNAM
This is the second case of a person who left Zimbabwe and tested positive in another country after a man who was in Vic Falls over a week ago tested positive in England.
