The Zimbabwe government has declared the Coronavirus a National Disaster and has banned some national events that were planned for March and April.

Of note is that:

• All major borders will remain open, with government only closing small “ungazetted” crossings
• There are no travel bans that have been put in place. Government is only discouraging travel to, from and through high risk countries. The high risk countries themselves where not specified.
• Schools will remain open until official term closing dates (around 2 April)
• International sports events banned for 1 month
