WATCH: Chamisa Speaks On What Govt And Citizens Must Do About Coronavirus
The president of the opposition MDC, Nelson Chamisa has urged Zimbabweans to be united in the fight against the novel coronavirus adding that the pandemic does not know any social boundary.
He said everyone including the government and the citizenry has a responsibility to prevent the spread of the virus.
Chamisa said that Zimbabwe should be concerned with the paraffin speed at which the virus was spreading globally, even when Zimbabwe is yet to register a case, because the world is now interdependent and interconnected.
His remarks come a few hours after Zimbabwe’s Defence minister Oppah Muchinguri expressed excitement over the virus which she described as God’s wrath to punish countries which imposed sanctions on Zimbabwe.
