Macheso Constructs ECD Classroom Block At Former School
Legendary Sungura musician Alick Macheso has officially handed over a new classroom block which he built for his former school, Enterprise Primary in Shamva.
Macheso built the school in partnership with Enhanced Mortgage and House of Africa where he is currently a brand ambassador.
Zimbabwe Red Cross Society Secretary General Maxwell Phiri joined Macheso during the event, with musicians Freeman, Selmor Mtukudzi, Simon Mutambi and Progress Chipfumo entertaining pupils, teachers and guests at the ceremony held that was held this week.
Writing on microblogging site Twitter after the colourful event, Macheso said:
Today in Shamva with the Zimbabwe Red Cross Society Secretary General Mr Maxwell Phiri as we handed over a classroom block we constructed for my former school Enterprise Primary.
