Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has tested positive for COVID-19, BBC News reports. This has resulted in the club postponing their game against Brighton which was scheduled for Saturday. According to the publication:

The Gunners have closed their training ground and club staff who had recent contact with Arteta will now self-isolate.The Premier League will hold “an emergency club meeting” on Friday to discuss future fixtures.

South African Corona Virus Cases Jump To 17, Spreads To Other Provinces

The case of persons that have tested positive for Coronavirus in South Africa has jumped to 17, IOL reports. According to the publication:

the Department of Health confirmed four new cases in KZN, Mpumalanga, the Free State and Gauteng – with each province having one new case each.

As of this morning, only 13 cases had been confirmed until the 4 new cases including a transmission case, were recorded.

The Dow Jones In A Sharp 1027 Points Decline

Wall Street giant The Dow Jones today lost a whopping 1000 points due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CNBC reports. According to the publication:

 Dow futures were down 1,067 points, indicating a loss of about 1,027 points at Thursday’s open. S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 futures were also sharply lower. The move comes after the Dow Jones Industrial Average ended its historic 11-year bull market run by closing in a bear market
