WATCH: Mthuli Ncube Caught 'Lying' To Journalists About Bond Notes

Finance and Economic Development Minister Mthuli Ncube has been accused of being dishonest after he allegedly denied saying he would ditch the bond note (in 2017) if he was appointed Finance Minister. Journalist Hopewell Chin’ono wrote on Twitter:

Today Zimbabwe’s Minister of Finance Mthuli Ncube was reminded that he promised to remove the Bond Note auxiliary currency if he was appointed Finance Minister. He deceitfully rejected that he said so, and challenged the journalist to watch the video again. I did & here it is!
