Government Claims It Has A Cash Surplus Of Over ZWL $3 Billion

The government in the press conference held by the treasury boss Mthuli Ncube and the RBZ chief John Mangudya said it has a cash surplus of ZWL $3 Billion.

A statement released by the government said:

MINISTRY OF FINANCE
a. Will Mantain Cash Budgeting Framework To minimise fiscal deficit, In line with this goal, it should be noted that Government has a cash surplus of over ZWL $3 Billion.

In the same statement, the RBZ said it will terminate gold incentives facility and introduce minimum interest rates on all deposits.
