Warriors Players Start Camp For CHAN Tournament

The Warriors squad will commence its their 10-day camp today (Monday), ahead of the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) finals to be held in Cameroon next month.

The players will start training tomorrow (Tuesday), under the watchful eye of newly-appointed coach Zdravko Logarusic, who will be taking the Warriors through their paces for the first time.

Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) acting Chief Executive Officer Xolisani Gwesela, who is the Association’s spokesperson had this to say:

We are expecting all players called to be in camp today to start training for the CHAN finals. They will start training tomorrow (Tuesday).

The players were initially expected to start camp yesterday (Sunday) but there have since been some logistical changes.

Meanwhile, Logarusic said that some players who are not part of the provisional squad may still be called up to join the camp.
