ZANU PF Bigwigs Living In Denial... They Pretend All Is Well - Tsenengamu

Former ZANU PF youth league leader Godfrey Tsenengamu has chided ruling party top officials for burying their heads in the sand while the country and party are burning.

Tsenengamu postulated that ZANU PF bigwigs tend to be pictured together as a public relations exercise while underneath there is simmering tension. He said:

But they will always avoid discussing issues affecting the party or the country at large. They are in denial. They know we have a crisis in the country, but will always pretend that all is well.

You see them taking pictures together and having programmes together, but deep down the mistrust runs deep because they are just trying to manage public perception.

The leadership is not in agreement in terms of how to deal with issues like corruption.

Tsenengamu also accused ZANU PF top leaders of failing to unite the party following the demise of the G40 faction.

He argued that G40 members were ZANU PF people whose crime was only belonging to a different faction and President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s vindictiveness will deny the country peace and unity.
