An individual who travelled from Thailand was this Sunday taken to Wilkins Hospital in Harare in a suspected coronavirus case.
The government, through the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services’ Twitter account, posted on Sunday afternoon:
The Wilkins Hospital is dealing with a case of a traveller from Thailand who presented at a local private hospital today, meeting the case definition for COVID-19 and was referred to them for further tests.
In another post on Twitter, the Ministry of Information revealed that a traveller from Dubai is now in self-quarantine in Masvingo after he tested negative for COVID-19. The post reads:
In Masvingo, a traveller from Dubai tested negative for Coronavirus. He is now in self-quarantine and being monitored.
