"I Will Never Be Left To Live In Peace," Marry Chiwenga Fears For Life

Marry Mubaiwa-Chiwenga, the estranged wife of vice president Constantino Chiwenga has said that chances are very high that she will be assassinated by Chiwenga’s people.

She told a British newspaper The Times that her life is now messed up since her initial arrest in December last year on allegations of trying to kill her husband, externalisation of funds and money laundering.

The former model added that there are people stalking her which makes the situation more delicate considering that her security detail was withdrawn.

In a a telephone interview with The Times, Marry said:

I will never be left to live in peace. It will be a life in and out of jail, or no life at all.

My protection has been taken away and if anything happened to me, there would be no witnesses. It could easily be explained away.

Marry and Chiwenga are embroiled in a messy divorce which has seen her blocked from accessing a number of properties including the couple’s matrimonial home.

Chiwenga accuses Marry of practising voodoo and being an alcoholic addict, hence a threat to him and the children.
